2024 9% Housing Tax Credit Application Acceptance Period begins January 2nd
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the Department) announces that the Application Acceptance Period for the 2024 Competitive Housing Tax Credit (HTC) cycle begins on January 2, 2024. The Pre-application final delivery date deadline is Friday, January 5, 2024, at 5 p.m., Central time. Pre-application fees must be received by the same deadline.

The Adjusted Income presentation will cover all aspects of adjusted income, including the changes from the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA).

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for 2024 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Discretionary funds. TDHCA is seeking applications from organizations interested in administering projects focused on education and employment initiatives in Native American and Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker populations. Applications are due by January 9, 2024.
TDHCA posts 2024 CSBG Discretionary Funds NOFA for a Reentry Activities Pilot Program
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for 2024 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Discretionary funds. TDHCA is seeking applications from organizations with established experience in serving the reentry population by helping previously incarcerated individuals in obtaining rental housing through landlord incentives, payment of security deposits, and other reentry activities related to housing.
