The document describes the plan TDHCA will use to develop the 2023 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). A survey was released to garner input on the ideas in this plan; surveys were able to be completed from November 12, 2021, to November 30, 2021.

Housing and Health Services Coordination Council Meets Jan. 19th
The Housing and Health Services Coordination Council (HHSCC) Quarterly Meeting is scheduled for January 19, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm. The purpose of the Council is to increase state efforts to offer service-enriched housing through increased coordination of housing and health services. The Council seeks to improve interagency understanding and increase the number of staff in state housing and health services agencies that are conversant in both housing and services.

Online Pre-Recorded Compliance Monitoring Tracking System Training Available
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance Monitoring staff has developed and recorded a training on the Compliance Monitoring and Tracking System (CMTS). This training offers a basic overview of the initial setup, additional account holders, password resets, uploading units and buildings, and a review of reporting requirements.
TDHCA opens Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit Pre-Application acceptance period
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has opened the 2022 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit Pre-Application acceptance period for the 2022 Competitive Housing Tax Credit Cycle today, January 3, 2022. The Pre-Application final delivery date is Friday, January 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Austin local time.
