The 2022 Project Income and Rent Tool that was posted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) website on May 4, 2022, contained an error.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the 2022 Multifamily Tax Subsidy Program (MTSP) income limits. These limits have been incorporated into the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Project Income and Rent Tool.

As part of the 2022 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit (HTC) Allocation process, TDHCA’s Multifamily Finance Division has posted Third Party Reports associated with 2022 9% Housing Tax Credit Full Applications on the Department’s website at https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/housing-tax-credits-9pct/index.htm.

TDHCA requests Housing Tax Credit property owners upload their 8609s with Part II completed to CMTS by May 31st.

This is a TDHCA reminder that the 2021 Annual Owner’s Compliance Report (AOCR) and the Annual Owner’s Financial Certification (AOFC) are due April 30, 2022.
