The 2022 Project Income and Rent Tool that was posted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) website on May 4, 2022, contained an error that has resulted in incorrect rent limits for 9% Housing Tax Credit rural developments. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) revised the national non-metro median income limits on May 4, 2022, and the new limits had not been incorporated in TDHCA’s 2022 Project Income and Rent Tool.
The 2022 Project Income and Rent Tool has been updated and reposted with an “as of” date of May 5, 2022, at https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/pmcomp/irl/index.htm.
