The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance Staff announces a virtual training to be held on June 28, 2022, regarding the Department’s Section 811 Project Rental Assistance (PRA) program. The virtual training will be conducted online from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Austin local time.

The Section 811 PRA program provides project-based rental assistance for extremely low-income persons with disabilities linked with long-term services. The program is made possible through a partnership between TDHCA, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), and eligible multifamily properties. The Section 811 PRA program creates the opportunity for persons with disabilities to live as independently as possible through the coordination of voluntary services and providing a choice of subsidized, integrated rental housing options.

In this seminar you will:

* Learn about the 811 program requirements
* Review the Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) requirements
* Review applicable student requirements
* Learn about interim and annual recertification requirements
* Learn about adjusted income and applicable deductions

While this training is virtual, you must register in order to attend. Instructions on how to access the training online as well as materials will be emailed to each registrant no later than the day before the online training.
