TDHCA’s Compliance Department regularly conducts training sessions for the Housing Tax Credit Program (HTC), the Bond Program (BOND), and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) to ensure compliance with all program requirements. These training sessions teach program regulations and will help all individuals ensure compliance when implementing Department-funded programs. The main types of available training sessions are Property Compliance and Income Determination. TDHCA has conducted 5 training sessions since the beginning of the year. Income Determination Training with HOTMA Changes Webinar – Jan. 4, 2024
This training focuses on eligibility requirements of TDHCA’s various affordable housing programs. All affordable housing property owners and managers, and all MFDL program contract administrators are encouraged to watch the webinar. The course was taught by TDHCA compliance staff and covers topics such as income, assets, student status, documenting household income, and more. At the training you will: Focus on eligibility requirements of various TDHCA affordable housing programs, Learn about calculating income, calculating assets and adjusted income, Get answers to your questions about eligibility, Learn how the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 will impact the programs beginning January 1, 2024.

Adjusted Income Webinar – Jan. 12, 2024

2024 Forms Training – February 9, 2024
TDHCA Compliance staff presented a webinar and answered questions about the forms required and available for the affordable housing programs monitored by the Multifamily Compliance Division at the Department. Staff walked through the completion of forms, offered insight and ideas to help on-site and compliance staff, and answered any questions about the required and available forms. The webinar took approximately an hour and a half.
Supportive Services, LURA discussion – March 8, 2024
TDHCA Multifamily Compliance staff presents on Supportive Services and discusses the Land Use Restriction Agreement (LURA) requirements for the affordable housing programs monitored by the Department. The video is about 90 minutes. This was a live webinar recorded for the benefit of Department housing partners that offer Supportive Services.
