TAAHP Foundation Scholarship Program

TAAHP’s scholarship program is open to all students living in affordable housing owned and/ or operated by TAAHP
members. TAAHP has awarded nearly $1,000,000 in college scholarships since its inception.

Local & Municipal Affairs (LAMA) Chapters

LAMA chapters were established in the Dallas/Ft.
Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston areas to provide local networking opportunities and identify opportunities to engage with local government affordable housing policies.

Membership Levels & Annual Dues

Industry Professional Member

Open to any individual associated with a business, firm, corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, individual professional, or other legal business entity that is involved in the affordable housing industry or provides services, supplies, or equipment for the affordable housing industry and is directly interested in its welfare is eligible to join at the Industry Professional Level.

Industry Professional Member Annual Dues

Dues are applicable to the Calendar Year (January 1 – December 31)

TAAHP does not prorate dues. If you join before September 1st, your membership is good through December 31st of the same year; If you join after August 31st, your membership is good through December 31st of the following year. 

  • 1st Person (aka seat): $760 (Active/Voting Member)*
  • 2nd Person (aka seat): $390 (Affiliate Member)
  • 3rd Person+ (aka seat(s): $265 each (Affiliate Members)

*You may add as many active/voting members as you wish.

When you complete this application, it will include at least the 1st seat (aka Active/Voting Member) – you will have the option to add additional active/voting or affiliate seats on the check out page.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: When completing the application, you will be asked to provide information about the “primary contact” – this primary contact should be who you want designated as your first “Active/Voting Member”. Once completing the information, you will advance to the checkout page where you can add additional “seats”. You will not be asked to provide your additional seat members’ contact information here. Upon receipt of payment for your membership, your membership will be approved and you will receive additional instructions for adding your member contact information for those additional seats to your profile.

Government / Regulatory Member

Government/Regulatory memberships are for individuals associated with AND doing business as a government agency, department, or regulatory agency.

Government / Regulatory Member Annual Dues
Annual Dues: $760 / Active Voting Member Seat OR $220 / person for each affiliate member (aka seat)

Dues are applicable to the Calendar Year (January 1 – December 31)

TAAHP does not prorate dues. If you join before September 1st, your membership is good through December 31st of the same year; If you join after August 31st, your membership is good through December 31st of the following year. 

When you join TAAHP, you join by individual.

You can add as many individual memberships aka “seats” during the application process as you like. 

Government/Regulatory members who are at the affiliate level are not entitled to vote or hold elected office in TAAHP, but may serve on committees and participate with working groups at the discretion of the Board of Directors (unless otherwise noted). They are eligible for membership benefits and services after complying with Board of Directors’ approved requirements.

Educator Member

An Educator membership is for a higher education educator affiliated with an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school.

Educator members are not entitled to vote or hold elected office in TAAHP, but may serve on committees and participate with working groups at the discretion of the Board of Directors (unless otherwise noted). They are eligible for membership benefits and services after complying with Board of Directors’ approved requirements.

Educator members receive 50% off admission to all TAAHP events, educational webinars, webinar subscriptions & classes.

Proof of affiliation with an acrredited learning institution is required to be approved at this level.

Educator Annual Dues
Annual Dues: $180 / per person

Dues are applicable to the Calendar Year (January 1 – December 31)

Student Member

A Student membership is for a higher education student affiliated with an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school.

Student members are not entitled to vote or hold elected office in TAAHP, or serve on committees or working groups. They are eligible for other membership benefits and services after complying with Board of Directors’ approved requirements.

Student members receive free admission to all TAAHP events and educational webinars and classes.

Proof of enrollment is required before your application can be approved. Email to [email protected] after completing your application.

$60 / per person
