The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance Division will present a training on Utility Allowance Methodologies on May 5, 2021, starting at 9 a.m., Austin local time. The training is expected to last approximately three hours.
The Utility Allowance Training provides a solid foundation of the seven available methodologies as outlined in 10 TAC Section 10.614 and covers the following:
– Rural Development and HUD Issued Utility Allowances
– Public Housing Authority (PHA) Methodology
– Written Local Estimate (WLE)
– Energy Consumption Model (ECM)
– Actual Use Methodology
– HUD Utility Schedule Model (HUSM)
