The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will host an in-person roundtable on Monday, September 20, 2021, to discuss the Supplemental Allocation process as reflected in the Draft 2022 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

The Draft 2022 QAP was approved by the TDHCA Board on September 2, 2021, and TDHCA will be accepting comment on that draft through October 8, 2021. TDHCA staff and participants will discuss timing and operational issues associated with the proposed Subchapter F of the QAP, which relates to Supplemental Housing Tax Credit Allocations. Staff from the Department’s Asset Management, Real Estate Analysis, and Multifamily divisions will be present to answer questions and discuss alternatives. No decisions will be made at this meeting, nor is this a public hearing. The purpose of this roundtable is to allow interested parties to pose questions and have engaged dialogue with one another with the goal of helping attendees make informed public comment. Even if general consensus on an issue appears to be reached among various attendees, written formal comment must still be submitted and received by Friday, October 8, 2021, at 5 p.m., Central Time.
