The Texas Department of Housing And Community Affairs (TDHCA) has posted draft versions of the 2022 Multifamily Uniform Application and Multifamily Programs Application Procedures Manual to its website at the following link: https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/apply-for-funds.htm.
These materials are being posted to solicit feedback and to allow for interested parties to familiarize themselves with the forms before their final publication. These materials are subject to change based on feedback received from users, changes in applicable rules or statutes, or any other reasons identified by staff that would enhance the functionality of the materials or more closely align them with programmatic needs.
The draft application is intended for use by 4% HTC Applicants who participated in the 2022 Private Activity Bond Lottery. Potential Competitive 9% HTC applicants should refrain from using the draft forms to begin preparing an application for submission, and instead wait until a final version is posted by TDHCA staff.
Please note that this is not the correct form to use to complete a request for supplemental 9% housing tax credits as outlined in Subchapter F of the Draft 2022 Qualified Allocation Plan. The form for those requests will be released by the Department no later than November 19, 2021, and will be announced in a separate email.
