Owners and managers of Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA)-supported properties are encouraged to use TDHCA’s Income and Rent Limit handout if/when they inform residents of any changes to their rent.

The handout provides helpful information about income and rent limits, including what residents can do when the rent goes up. Links to English and Spanish versions of the handout are available in the “Helpful Tools” box in the top right corner of TDHCA’s “Income and Rent Limits” web page at: https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/pmcomp/irl/index.htm.

Similar information is also provided online at: https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/pmcomp/irl/irl-supported-properties.htm.

If you have any questions, please contact TDHCA Director of Compliance Monitoring Wendy Quackenbush at 512-305-8860 or at wendy.quackenbush@tdhca.state.tx.us.
