The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) presented a New Owner Training on Friday, February 7, 2025.
This webinar was led by TDHCA staff and provided information to new owners, managers, and on-site staff on how to comply with TDHCA-monitored programs. Staff discussed TDHCA’s expectations, the Compliance Monitoring and Tracking System (CMTS), National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE), Final Construction Inspections, File Monitoring Reviews, Corrective Action, Enforcement Processes, and shared additional training opportunities. This webinar was an overview of several topics which are discussed in greater detail in other available trainings. The intention of this webinar was to serve as a starting point for new owners, managers, and on-site staff to have an overview of the requirements of the TDHCA Multifamily programs’ requirements.
