TDHCA Multifamily Compliance staff presented The Application versus the Land Use Restriction Agreement (LURA) webinar on January 9, 2026. Staff provided a live presentation comparing the Housing Tax Credit Application compliance elections to the Land Use Restriction Agreement (LURA). The information presented is provided as a resource for the Department’s housing partners as an example before the LURA has been recorded. The intent was to offer owners, management, and onsite staff an opportunity to know where to find information such as income/rent designations, elected special needs requirements, supportive services, and other requirements in the Application for funds. It gave owners, management, and onsite staff an opportunity to view actual examples, ask questions, and help participants understand the origination of LURA requirements.
