TDHCA’s Multifamily Finance Division has posted guidance and an updated “Intent to Apply” form concerning the 2025 State Housing Tax Credit Application process for 9% Applicants. Applicants interested in applying for Texas State Housing Tax Credits in conjunction with 2025 9% HTC Applications must submit an intent to request those state credits no later than the Full Application Delivery Date.
Additionally, the deadline for 9% Applications that have not submitted a Pre-Application to complete an Electronic Filing Agreement for .ftp access is February 15, 2025. As February 15 is a Saturday, per 10 TAC Section 11.1(f) that states if a deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the next day on which the Department is open for general operation. By rule, Electronic Filing Agreements will be accepted until 5 p.m., Central Time, on Tuesday, February 18.
