The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Compliance division hosted a webinar on the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA), and the associated regulatory changes required in 2024. The HOTMA webinar goes over the regulatory requirements, how TDHCA will continue to monitor the new requirements, and how the HOTMA requirements are implemented when a development has multiple programs layered. Additionally, other items pertaining specifically to HOTMA and the changes that came with the new regulations were presented by staff.
