The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Compliance division presented a live online presentation of the Income Determination Training on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The training focuses on eligibility requirements of TDHCA’s various affordable housing programs. Participants of the training included affordable housing property owners, managers, on-site staff, and Multifamily Direct Loan program contract administrators. The course was led by TDHCA multifamily compliance staff and covered topics such as income, assets, student status, documenting household income, and more.
Attendees were given information on the following:
– Eligibility requirements of various TDHCA affordable housing programs
– Calculating income and assets and adjusted income
– Answers to participant questions about eligibility
