The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has used a random selection process to determine the tie-breaker number for each of the applications submitted during the 2025 Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Competitive Award cycle. The tie-breaker number will be used to determine priority for any instances of a tied score among the submitted applications.
The application self-scores, along with the assigned tie breaker numbers, are posted on the Department’s website at https://www.tdhca.texas.gov/esg-funding.
