The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has opened the 2022 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit Pre-Application acceptance period for the 2022 Competitive Housing Tax Credit Cycle today, January 3, 2022. The Pre-Application final delivery date is Friday, January 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Austin local time. Pre-Application fees as prescribed by Section 11.901 of the 2022 Qualified Allocation Plan must be received by this same deadline. Additionally, the Department has posted 2022 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit Pre-Application Submission System Instructions to the Department’s website here: https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/apply-for-funds.htm. The instructions describe the Pre-Application system and provide information that will help applicants ensure Pre-Applications are submitted successfully.
