The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will hold a public comment period to obtain public comment on the Draft 2020 State of Texas Low Income Housing Plan and Annual Report (SLIHP) from Monday, December 16, 2019, through Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at 5 p.m., Austin local time.
The SLIHP offers a comprehensive reference for statewide housing needs, housing resources, and strategies for funding allocations. It reviews TDHCA’s housing programs, current and future policies, and resource allocation plans to meet state housing needs. It also reports on the Department’s performance during the preceding state fiscal year (September 1, 2018, through August 31, 2019).
During the public comment period, a public hearing will take place as follows:

Anyone may submit comments on the SLIHP in written form or oral testimony at the public hearing.
