The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Compliance division will host a live webinar on Utility Allowances on August 9, 2024, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Central Time.
The Utility Allowances presentation will cover all of the Utility Allowance methodologies and offer guidance on each of the five Department-approved methodologies. We will walk through submission requirements, and have examples of the various methodologies. Directly after the webinar, TDHCA’s Compliance staff will be available for questions on the presented topic until 10:30 a.m., or when the utility allowance questions have all been answered.
Multifamily Compliance staff will remain available afterward in an open session forum until noon on August 9 to allow the Department’s partners to ask questions on any multifamily compliance topic. Webinar participants may remain online, or for those not wanting to attend the Utility Allowances webinar, please login after 10:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for all participants to ask or listen to multifamily compliance-related questions.

The open forum time of the webinar time will cover any multifamily compliance or physical inspection topic as brought up by interested parties. There will be no formal presentation during this timeframe, but staff will be on-hand to answer questions and offer guidance.
