The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Compliance division will host its monthly Office Hours open forum and Completing the Unit Status Report and the Income and Rent Tool Training, live online, on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Central Time.
The Completing the Unit Status Report and the Income and Rent Tool Training will feature a walk-thru of the Unit Status Report (USR) using the Department’s online Income and Rent Tool as a resource. The intention of this webinar is to allow owners, management, and staff an opportunity to watch compliance monitors complete the required USR, and ask questions during the completion of the report. It will also give owners, management, and staff the opportunity to view the Income and Rent Tool resource being used, and to ask questions about this process and resource. This will be a general webinar regarding the USR and the Income and Rent Tool. The webinar is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Central Time.
Multifamily Compliance staff will remain available afterward in an open session forum until 11:30 a.m. on November 7 to allow the Department’s partners to ask questions on any multifamily compliance topic. Webinar participants may remain online, or for those not wanting to attend the live training, please login around 10:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for all participants to ask or listen to multifamily compliance-related questions.

The open forum time of the webinar time will cover multifamily compliance or physical inspection topics as brought up by interested parties. There will be no formal presentation during this timeframe, but staff will be on-hand to answer questions and offer guidance.
