TDHCA Extends 10% Test Deadline for 2024 9% HTC Awards

TDHCA has extended the 10% Test submission deadline for 2024 9% Housing Tax Credit awards to October 31, 2025, or, if earlier, to one year from the date that the 2024 Carryover Allocation Agreement was signed by TDHCA. This extension aligns TDHCA’s policy more closely with federal requirements under Section 42, as the Department’s previous July 1 deadline was more stringent than what federal law mandates. A revised 10% Test package is now available here, with additional guidance available in the Post Award Activities Manual.
