The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Asset Management division would like to remind owners and management agents that HOME, HOME-ARP, HOME Match, National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and TCAP-RF developments committed funds on or after August 23, 2013, on which construction has been completed, are required to submit annual rent approval requests to their Asset Manager by no later than August 1 of each year. The deadline for 2025 rent approval requests is Friday, August 1, 2025.
To submit an annual rent approval request, please complete and email the bookmarked PDF together with the completed Excel workbook of the Rent Approval Tool, located at https://www.tdhca.texas.gov/sites/default/files/asset-management/docs/25-HOMERentApprovalTool.xlsx to the Asset Manager assigned to the development.
