The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ Single Family and Homeless Programs division announces the 2026 income limits for the HOME Investments Partnership Program (HOME) are in effect as of June 1, 2026.
The 2026 Income Limits may be reviewed on the HUD Exchange website at https://www.hudexchange.info/programs/cpd-income-and-rent-limits/#home. Any income certified on or after June 1, 2026, is subject to these income limits.
In addition, TDHCA has created a tool to determine whether a household may be reported as a household whose income is at or below the 30% income limit in order to meet the requirements of 10 TAC Section 23.25(b). The tool will allow Administrators to easily determine whether the county in which the household resides utilizes 30% of the Area Median Family Income or the statewide 30% income limits for this purpose. This tool may be found under the Rent and Income Limits menu at https://www.tdhca.texas.gov/home-program-rules.
