The City of Austin’s Housing and Planning Department released the 2020 Blueprint scorecard measuring its affordable housing goals. The NRP Group is building the 4 percent tax credit and bond development in partnership with Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation (CAHFC).

Palladium Fain Street closes LIHTC development in Ft. Worth

Palladium closed its second 2020 9% low-income housing tax credit Multifamily Development for 2021 in February with the closing of Palladium Fain Street at 1069 Kings Highway in Fort Worth. This is a four-story, 90-unit mixed-income multifamily development with 81 units set aside for those earning between 30% - 60% of area median income with 10% of the units at market rate.

The Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act, which seeks to expand the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, has been reintroduced in Congress this session as S. 1136 and H.R. 2573. The changes proposed in this legislation are estimated to increase the supply of affordable housing by over 2 million units over 2 years.
