From CBS Austin

With Williamson County experiencing a 24-month to 48-month waitlist for affordable rental housing, a new grant of more than $1.4 million to build and preserve affordable housing in the county couldn’t have come at a better time. Currently, Williamson County has an open comment period for neighbors to provide input into proposed projects that will use grant money. The period ends July 31. There will be a public hearing on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 5:00 P.M. at the Williamson County Courthouse located at 710 Main Street, Georgetown, TX.
