The 2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (“QAP”) and Subchapters A, B, C and G of the Uniform Multifamily Rules were approved by the Department’s Governing Board on November 10, 2016.  The QAP and Rules are under review by Governor Abbott, the results of his review are due on December 1, 2016. In the event the Governor makes any changes to the QAP or Rules, they will be incorporated into the training.  Staff anticipates the QAP and Rules will be submitted to the Texas Register on December 9, 2016, and will become effective 20 days after submission.

These rules may be accessed on the Department’s website at the following link: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/nofas-rules.htm
