GOP Vote to Support LIHTC
Ways and Means Republicans Vote to Support LIHTCWASHINGTON–Dec. 16, 2016–Republican members of the House Ways and Means Committee agreed this week to keep the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) during upcoming comprehensive tax reform, according to a report from the National Association of Home Builders. The blog report says lawmakers met earlier this week and that Ways and Means Republicans also supported a move to lower corporate tax rates. The 115th Congress will open Jan. 3, 2017, and tax reform is expected to be among its highest priorities. |
