Next week, TDHCA will host its last QAP roundtable and workgroup webinar. The in-person roundtable will cover the following topics; supportive housing, tiebreakers, neighborhood risk factors, and QAP language cleanup. Click here to access agenda.

This will conclude TDHCA’s initial research and input phase for the 2023 QAP development plan. Activities in this phase included Research and Data analysis, intensive virtual workgroups, in-person roundtables, and surveys.

Past engagement activities:

On March 30th, TDHCA hosted its first 2023 QAP roundtable where the conversation focused on cost containment, readiness to proceed, underserved points, and supportive housing. TDHCA released a document, Summary of On Cost Containment including Cost/sf scoring, before the roundtable for the public to review. TDHCA hosted its second 2023 QAP roundtable on April 28th. The discussion focused on CRP and Opportunity Index, Unit Sizes, Appraisals, and Acquisition/Rehab developments.

TAAHP’s QAP Committee will host its annual member meeting in June. All TAAHP members are invited to attend. More details will be released soon.
