TAAHP member Franklin Development Affordable Housing received approval for its planned affordable housing development at 3830 Parkdale in the Medical Center area of San Antonio. The new development will include 196 units all reserved for households earning less than 60 percent of the area’s median housing income.
The affordable housing development is expected to be completed in 2021.
Franklin Development Affordable Housing’s Park at 38Thirty affordable housing community is among a total of 220 multi-family units approved by the San Antonio City Council.
“Providing affordable housing to families in San Antonio is critical to the future of our city,” said Mayor Ron Nirenberg. “These new affordable housing units align with the Mayor’s Housing Policy Task Force Report, and I am pleased to see that we are bringing more affordable rental and for-sale housing units to the center city and SA Tomorrow regional centers.”
