The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has posted a schedule for public hearings for purposes of taking public comment on the 2019 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit (HTC) Applications to its website at: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/announcements.htm.

TDHCA has posted two lists of documents received related to scoring based on community input received by the application submission deadline:

– The list of letters received for points under 10 TAC 11.9(d)(4) of the 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), related to Quantifiable Community Participation (QCP); and

– The list of letters received for points under 10 TAC 11.9(d)(5) of the 2019 QAP, related to Community Support from State Representatives.

The data in the lists was compiled after a preliminary review of the items received. The lists only describe the documents received and do not represent decisions related to the final scoring of Applications. The documents have not been fully reviewed to ensure that they have met minimum requirements of the 2019 QAP, and are under review. The posting of the lists should not be viewed as a trigger for the appeals process. If you believe that a document that was submitted does not appear on either list, please contact TDHCA Competitive Housing Tax Credit Program Administrator Sharon Gamble by email at sharon.gamble@tdhca.state.tx.us. To the extent that any corrections are made, revised lists will be posted at a later date. The lists can be found at: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/housing-tax-credits-9pct/index.htm under “Current Application Cycle Information.”
